Real events with real dates for the Northern Nevada car community. From the 40th anniversary of Hot August Nights to weekly cruise nights, Cars & Coffee meetups, charity car shows, off-road racing, NHRA drag racing at Top Gun Raceway, swap meets, and Halloween trunk-or-treat gatherings. Recurring meetups run all season long. Past events from early August have been archived; every listing below is still coming up this season. Updated .

Reno Cars & Coffee
The most consistent car gathering in Northern Nevada. Twice-monthly Sunday morning meetup for all makes and models. Classics, imports, trucks, bikes all welcome. Coffee, cars, and conversation every first and third Sunday.
Sparks Cars & Coffee
Bi-monthly meetup on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month. All enthusiasts welcome regardless of what you drive. A relaxed morning with coffee and community in Sparks.
Thursday Nite Cruisers
Weekly summer cruise nights through historic downtown Carson City. All vehicles welcome -- classics, modern muscle, trucks, and bikes. A Carson City summer tradition that draws locals and visitors alike.
A&W Wednesday Cruise Nights
Wednesday evening cruise nights at A&W in Sparks during the summer season. Classic cars, root beer floats, and that nostalgic small-town feel. One of the longest-running weekly cruise nights in the area.
Pizzava Classic Nights
Third Monday of each month car meetup at Pizzava in Sparks. Music, food and drink discounts, and a cash prize giveaway for best ride. Year-round gathering that brings out a great mix of vehicles.
Cool Car Fridays Cruise Night
Free Friday evening cruise night at Heavenly Village from May through October. Open to all cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Gas money drawings and prizes. The perfect way to end the week at Lake Tahoe.
Kim's Kruisers
Weekly Thursday morning car gathering at Kim's Donut Shop in Gardnerville. A beloved Carson Valley tradition -- donuts, coffee, and classic cars under the Sierra sky. All makes and models welcome.
Carson City Cars & Coffee
Monthly Cars & Coffee on the first Saturday of the month, April through October. A welcoming morning gathering for car enthusiasts of all stripes. Located in downtown Carson City.
Fallon Cars N Coffee
Monthly cars-and-coffee meetup hosted by the Rustoration Garage in Fallon. A welcoming spot for Churchill County gearheads to gather, share stories, and enjoy coffee.
Trucks & Tacos of Northern Nevada
Weekly Tuesday evening meet-up for truck enthusiasts, hosted at rotating restaurant locations around the Reno area. A fun, casual gathering for truck lovers to show off their rides.
South Reno Classic Car Meetup
A casual Sunday afternoon classic car meetup at Ole Tyme Saloon in south Reno. All makes and models welcome. A relaxed way to spend a Sunday afternoon with the local car community.
Cars and Stripes
A morning car show with a patriotic theme. Bring your vehicle and enjoy coffee, conversation, and community at Sportsmen's Warehouse in Carson City.
GearHeadSociety Lake Tahoe
A multi-day automotive enthusiast gathering on Lake Tahoe's south shore featuring curated car displays, scenic drives through the Sierra, and lifestyle experiences at the Golden Nugget.
NAM Museum Cup Series — Reno Mustang Car Club
Part of the National Automobile Museum's 2026 Museum Cup Series featuring regional car clubs. The Reno Mustang Car Club takes the spotlight with a curated display of Ford Mustangs spanning six decades.
Dessert in the Desert
An evening of sweets and classics at the Chocolate Nugget in Carson City. Bring your car, grab some dessert, and enjoy a casual evening with fellow car enthusiasts.
Pierce-Arrow Society Annual Meet
The Pierce-Arrow Society holds its annual meet in the Carson Valley, featuring a scenic drive to a private collection in Minden and Genoa, culminating in a Car Show and Judging at the historic Dangberg Ranch (est. 1857). A rare gathering of pre-war automotive excellence.
Fallon Cantaloupe Festival & Car Show
The annual "Rev It Up" Car and Bike Show at the Churchill County Cantaloupe Festival & Country Fair in Fallon. Classic cars, custom bikes, food, and small-town Nevada charm. Early registration $30, same-day $35.
Last Bash at Lazy 5
The Last Bash of the summer season at Lazy 5 Regional Park in Sparks, hosted by the Obsolete Iron Car Club. A full day of cars, community, and celebration to close out the season with a bang.
Labor Day Classic Car Show
A Labor Day weekend classic car show at Heavenly Village in South Lake Tahoe. Bring your classic ride or just come to enjoy a stunning display of vintage automobiles with the Sierra Nevada as your backdrop. Free to the public.
Brunch-N-Classics 2026 "Grand Finale"
The Grand Finale of the Brunch-N-Classics series at Baldini's Casino. A special Sunday brunch and car show to wrap up the popular season of classic car gatherings in Sparks.
Top Gun Dragstrip NHRA National Open & Car Show
NHRA National Open drag racing and car show at Top Gun Raceway, Northern Nevada's only NHRA-sanctioned drag strip. Watch Top Fuel, Pro Stock, and Sports Compact racers compete alongside a classic car show. A full day of high-speed action in Churchill County.
Adventure Van Expo at Palisades Tahoe
A showcase of built-out adventure vans, Mercedes Sprinters, 4x4 rigs, and overland vehicles at Palisades Tahoe. Meet van builders, browse accessories, and get inspired for your own adventure vehicle build. A unique automotive lifestyle event in the heart of the Sierra Nevada.
Cool September Days Car, Truck & M/C Show
A three-day weekend car, truck, and motorcycle show at Heavenly Village in South Lake Tahoe. $50 entry, cash and prizes. The perfect fall gathering with the Sierra Nevada as your backdrop.
Dayton Valley Days Car Show-N-Shine
Annual car show on historic Main Street as part of Dayton Valley Days. Features 150+ vendors, food trucks, live music, a kids zone, and the car show showcasing classic cars, customs, and hot rods. Registration at 7 AM.
NAM Museum Cup Series — Cadillac Kings
The Museum Cup Series continues with the Cadillac Kings car club displaying an elegant collection of Cadillacs from the classics to the modern era. Part of the National Automobile Museum's 2026 series.
Dessert in the Desert — Evening Edition
An evening edition of Dessert in the Desert at A Galaxy in Two in Carson City. Enjoy extended hours of classic cars, desserts, and community connection under the autumn sky.
Street Vibrations Fall Rally 2026
The largest motorcycle and automotive rally in the region, drawing 50,000+ riding enthusiasts across Reno, Sparks, Carson City, and Virginia City. Features live concerts including Lynyrd Skynyrd at the Reno Events Center on September 25, the Tripwire Music Festival at J Resort, 250+ vendors, poker runs, the Globe of Death stunt show, FMX Ramp-Age, factory rigs, and a tattoo expo. Free admission to the biggest rally weekend of the fall season.
6th Annual Hounds and Hot Rods
The 6th annual Hounds and Hot Rods charity car event at Baldini's in Sparks. A beloved tradition combining four-legged friends and four-wheeled classics for a great cause. A Nevada Car Coalition end-of-season celebration.
Northern NV Classics Inaugural Swap Meet
The very first swap meet hosted by Northern NV Classics at Baldini's Casino in Sparks. Shop for parts, accessories, and automotive treasures from vendors and collectors across the region.
NAM Museum Cup Series — West Coast Kustoms
The final 2026 Museum Cup Series event features the West Coast Kustoms club, showcasing custom builds, kustom paint, and creative automotive artistry. The finale of the National Automobile Museum's popular series.
Back Roads Vintage Market Fall Festival
Fall festival in Fallon featuring vintage vehicles, artisan vendors, and small-town Nevada charm. A relaxed weekend event for the whole family.
The Last Detail
The Last Detail car show at the Atlantis Casino in Reno. A final gathering of the season showcasing pristine classics, customs, and collector vehicles before winter storage begins.
South Tahoe Classic & Old Car Giveaway
The South Tahoe Classic Car, Truck, and Motorcycle Show with an Old Car Giveaway at Heavenly Village. The final automotive event of the season at Lake Tahoe.
Pumpkin Patch and Trunk or Treat
A Halloween-themed family event hosted by the Pharaohs Car Club of Northern Nevada. Pumpkins, decorated trunks, and trick-or-treating for the whole community.
7th Annual Trunk-or-Treat
The 7th annual Trunk-or-Treat at Cargo Park in Carson City. A Halloween celebration with creatively decorated car trunks, candy, costumes, and community fun for all ages. A Carson City tradition.
Vegas to Reno Off-Road Race "The Other Way" — 30th Anniversary
The 30th anniversary of America's most prestigious point-to-point off-road race, now running from Las Vegas to Reno with a dramatic finish line celebration in downtown Reno. Presented by UNLTD / Best in the Desert.
K-9s & Classics Car & Motorcycle Show
Annual family-friendly charity event benefiting the Douglas County Sheriff's K-9 Unit, hosted by the Nevada Car Coalition. Classic cars, motorcycles, food vendors, and community spirit in the heart of Carson Valley.
★ 40th Hot August Nights — Celebrated July 31 - Aug 9
Northern Nevada's crown jewel automotive event celebrated its 40th anniversary with 10 days of classic car cruising, 6,000+ registered vehicles across 10+ venues, AMSOIL drag racing at the Nugget, MAG Auctions, nightly concerts featuring Herman's Hermits, Tommy James & The Shondells, Blood Sweat & Tears, and the Grand Finale Parade on August 9. The 2026 edition was the largest in history with sold-out car registrations. Thanks to everyone who cruised, showed, and celebrated with us.
